I have the experience of teaching students from all backgrounds and of all mental aptitude. The key to teaching school students is to build a mutual emotional connection in order to gauge their aptitude and capacity to learn a subject. My tutoring technique is quite simple. I plan my lessons based on the student. I try starting a topic with a visual aid and the summary of the chapter especially in case of History (chronology). Irregardless of the subject, I teach my students in depth about the subject and focus on between the lines. So that they are prepared for any kind of surprise exam. I also focus on building self-confidence in my students which is fundamental in case of oral exams.
