For IBPS PO exam you need to have a graduate degree in any discipline. So don't worry about specialisation in your degree. Min age is 21 and max age is 30 for unreserved candidate.

In IBPS Genreal Awarness consits of two parts, one is banking awarness, in which questions are asked on banking system, its histroy, monetring policy, and current leads in banking sector. Other part consists of general current affairs. It is important because GS is having its own sectional cuttoff. General awarness, if you know it, you can complete it soon. Many students, as I know, clears the overall cutt off but miss the cutt off of GA. Usually, students take it lightly. They study and try to mug up every concept just 2-3 days before examination. That's not the right way. Scoring well is easy in GA if you update yourselves daily with newspapers like The Hindu, The Economic Times. You just need to focus on any news related to goverment policy, banking sector, sports, awards and important day. It would take 30 minutes a day, and GS worth that time.
