Vidya & Child is an organization that works with children from marginalized sections of society, providing education and integrating them into the mainstream. Unlike traditional schools, Vidya & Child focuses on building confidence, empathy, dreams for the future, and happiness alongside academic knowledge.

Most parents of the children served by Vidya & Child have little to no education, making it difficult for them to support their children's education. The schools are located in bastis to ensure easy access for the children. Despite lacking air conditioning and other amenities, the schools are safe for both male and female students, with a sufficient number of staff members working at each location.
