What is the test about?
This Entrance Examination shall be conducted for admission of candidates to Undergraduate Courses in Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self Financed Institutes in the State of West Bengal for the academic session of 2018–19.
Who is eligible?
The applicant has to be a citizen of India.
The lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2018.
There is no upper age limit for appearing for the WBJEE-2018.
For admission to the degree level Marine Engineering Course, lower age limit is 17 years as on 31.12.2018 and the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31.12.2018.

What are the test syllabus, duration and format?
The Entrance Examination shall be held in offline mode.
There will be two papers in the WBJEE 2018:
Paper-I – Mathematics.
Paper-II - Physics & Chemistry (combined).
Candidates appearing for both the Papers and who are awarded ranks shall be eligible for admission in Engineering/ Architecture/ Technology/ Pharmacy Courses in all institutes.
Candidates appearing for Paper-II only and who are awarded ranks shall be eligible for admission only in Pharmacy Courses (except in Jadavpur University).
