What is the test about?
As per latest information, the Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test (UP CPMT) has been replaced by the NEET Exam. Therefore UP will conduct no state level examination for MBBS and BDS Courses. Only a counselling procedure shall be organized by the Directorate Medical Education & Training, UP, on the basis of the NEET UG score. Admission to government and private medical colleges in UP can be taken by students via this process.
Who is eligible?
Candidates should be 17 years old.
Candidates should have passed their 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
Candidates should have scored an aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, chemistry and Biology (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC category).
The Candidate must either be UP domiciled or passed/appearing for the 10th and 12th standard examination from the state of UP.
What are the test syllabus, duration and format?
Exam Pattern and Syllabus:
200 questions in the exam.
50 questions from each section.
Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany.
The question paper will be of 3 hours.
Objective Type Questions.
No negative marking.
1 mark will for each correct answer.
