What is the test about?
Saveetha University Medical Entrance Exam 2018 will be a test conducted by Saveetha University to grant admission to candidates to its medical courses.
Who is eligible?
The Candidate should have taken two years Intermediate, HSC, or the equivalent examination having core subjects English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology from a recognized institute or Indian University or Pre- University.
The Candidate must have scored at least 70% aggregate of marks in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology in the qualifying exam or the competitive examination hosted by a competent body.
The Candidate must be 17 years of age at the time of admission or should reach this age by/on the 31st December in the year of his/her admission.
The Candidate must be medically fit.
What are the test syllabus, duration and format?
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes.
150 questions will be asked in MCQ format, each carrying 1 mark.
No negative marking.
Marks distribution per section is as follows; Physics – 40, Chemistry – 40, Biology – 50, Analytics – 20.
