What is the test about?
The All India Pre-Medical Test which is also known as the AIPMT has now been replaced with the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test or NEET. The AIPMT (NEET) is considered by every medical institution (except for the All India Institution for Medical Science and the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) for offering admission to their MBBS and BDS courses.
Who is eligible?
Candidates who have passed their 12th standard examination from a recognized school with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects studied by them.
Candidates who have completed their B.Sc. degree with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English can also be eligible.
General / OBC / Other Unreserved Category Candidates should have scored 50% marks in their qualifying examination to be eligible for this one.
SC / ST / PH / Other Reserved Category Candidates have to score 40% marks to be eligible for this examination.
General / OBC / Other Unreserved category candidates must have been born on or between 08/05/1993 to 01/01/2002 to be eligible for this exam.
SC / ST / PH / Other Reserved category candidates must have been born on or between 08/05/1988 to 01/01/2002 to be eligible for this exam.
Upper Age Limit is 25 years, and age relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates can also be applicable.

3 Hours (180 Minutes)
Total 3 Attempts
10 Languages – Hindi, English, Tamil, Assamese, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, and Oriya.
Each Answer will carry 4 Marks
1 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The syllabus will be in accordance with the 11th and 12th standards.
Questions can be expected from Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany.
45 Questions from each subject, with 180 Marks allotted for each subject.
Maximum Marks: 720.
