Course Details

Introduction to GATE 2024. It will have a total of 30 test papers comprising full papers and sectional papers. Candidates have the option to appear for one or two test papers from the allowed two-paper combinations. The GATE score obtained by the candidates will remain valid for a period of three years from the date of announcement of results. The GATE score is used for admissions to various post-graduate education programs (e.g. Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Master of Architecture, Doctor of Philosophy) in Indian higher education institutes, with financial assistance provided by MoE and other government agencies. It will be a computer-based test (CBT), which is an online mode. GATE exam questions will include multiple-choice (MCQ), multiple-choice (MSQ), and numerical-response (NAT) questions.
