Course Details

Elementary Hindi is designed to provide continuing basic training in all aspects associated with the language, namely reading, writing, speaking and listening comprehension. Specifically, students will work on the ability to read and understand short texts on familiar topics, speak about oneself and one’s environment, start conversations on topics of general interest, understand the basic sentence structures of Hindi, and acquire a general familiarity with the cultural contexts in which Hindi is used. Duration of the course will be 4 weeks/80 hours.
